About Marine Clean

Marine Clean Ltd. has been serving the Marine Industry since 1974. Our work has grown to encompass a vast range of services that we provide to Canadian Domestic, Canadian Coast Guard, Fisheries and Oceans and Naval vessels.

At the core of our business operations is the cleaning, degreasing, and disposal of petroleum based products and tanks.

In May 2017, MCL was acquired by Envirosystems Incorporated. Dave Allan, President of Marine Clean, stated, “After four decades we see this transition to Envirosystems as the next step in the evolution of Marine Clean, ensuring our customers continue to be serviced at the highest level, with additional service lines, over a broader geographical area.”

QUALIFICATIONS

Marine Clean Ltd.is a Designated Spill Response Contractor for the Eastern Canada Response Corporation (ECRC).Marine Clean Ltd. is licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) to operate a Waste Management System, as well as multiple Transfer Sites. This allows us to legally handle, transport, store, transfer and dispose of Registerable and Non-Registerable Waste Materials that includes both hazardous and non-hazardous liquid industrial and solid commercial, domestic and industrial waste.Marine Clean Ltd. gas testing and certification operations are recognized by Transport Canada, through the Canadian Coast Guard. We are considered as “Marine Gas Chemist Equivalent” and are recognized as “qualified persons” as defined and allowed in the Canada Shipping Act Safe Working Practices, Transport Canada’s TP3177E Standard for the Control of Gas Hazards to be Repaired or Altered, and Provincial Regulations. Our services include both certification as “safe for workers” and “safe for hot work” and are accepted on Canadian Naval, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, and Canadian Coast Guard vessels, as well as shoreside facilities.
